This comes from a post montypython had on 01/27/2020 as to what is over the trees on this coin .So I to have come across some and here are 8 coins with it in deferent stages I only put up pics of the spot ,if you need pics of the whole coin can do. But is this grease/oil or some kind of lam. ? any input welcome thank you ,and good luck hunting.

Struck through a thin layer of grease. I see these somewhat often on the later Statehood Quarters.
