Don't know if this has been brought up yet. Does anybody know when the Cherry Pickers Guide 6th edition price will come back down to earth? I heard that some groups bought all the books they could find, and then raised the prices beyond peoples ability to pay. I have seen them going for over 300 dollars. I paid 39 dollars for the fifth edition years ago. Just wondering if anybody has heard anything.

Volume one has been out already. I see it for sale even on ebay, but at over 200.00.

It could simply be a supply/demand issue. Maybe Mr. Stanton's passing had some effect. Maybe prices will drop once vol. 2 comes out.

I never buy those so I don't worry about that price range. However, I would think eventually that price on ebay will drop too.

the one on presale on Amazon is Vol.2 Half Dimes through dollars and bullion ect. they could be more clear about that but the range is in the description.

If you wanted 6th edition Vol. 1 that's a tough one.
as far as ebay, people can ask whatever they want for something, a new book is abut $40, so if you see a make an offer on ebay for a used 6th edition vol. 1, can't hurt to offer $60-$80 for it and see if the seller bites to move it.
