I Have A 1982 D Penny Question, What Do I Have?

I found a 1982 D copper penny and noticed that the D didn't look right. Actually the whole coin looks different to me. Can someone tell me what they think it is? Or is it nothing?

As you can see from the chart above, you have a large date 82 cent As to the MintMark and some lettering on the reverse in "America", these areas have been damaged taking a blow from something unknown, simply, it's just post mint damage, PMD (no premium I'm afraid.)
