I am very intersted in colletcing the coins and I just wanna know if there is a market for the coin collecting or exchanging around Washington DC cause I am living in MD.

Could you please explain what you mean by is there a market.

coin collecting is worldwide and there are numerous collectors and dealers around the DC area

yes, exactly, it is a place, like a store in which people can exchanges what they need, like coins or stamps or other collection.

I do know that the US Mint has a kiosk in Union Station but I do not know of any specific shops(although I am sure that there are shops in the Washington/Baltimore area). Baltimore will be the host of the annual ANA World's Fair of Money Jul 30-Aug 3 in 2009.

you might want to search online for coin shops and coin clubs. If there is not one in DC there has to be one just outside. You can also do the online thing and buy. There are some great websites online that sale coins for very good prices. Just be careful and research them before you buy
