Hmm, I was going to say the same thing as John, but looking closer, it could be a Struck Through Grease error. Can we get a better photo of the coin? I can't really tell if it's just chewed up or if the surface pitting was struck into the coin. Probably damage, but want to be sure.

I would think so too but the letters on the United States go right through the damage as if it was struck on a damaged Planchette

Hmm, I'm still leaning damage, but this is an interesting one. Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable forum members will weigh in. In the mean time

I see enough nicks and dings on the rim of the coin to say a good portion of what your seeing is damage but some of it could be a strike through. The damage is extensive in any case. I'm posting one of your picks and circled an area that is definitely PMD.

I don't believe them or nicks and dings I believe they are small craters like big one And if it was damage how come the lettering runs right through there as if it was on top

To me it looks like it could be a struck through (not grease) or more likely a caustic substance placed on the coin in multiple areas. Doing this wouldn't damage the reverse.
The weight might be helpful, depending on how lite it might be.

I agree with John1 at the start of this posting. Parking lot PMD.
