This Nomos/Stater has a tag identifying it as Noe 115. But that cant be right? Any help appreciated. 7.46 g. 28 mm

I am not sure to understand what you mean by « Noe 115 « . This is a stater from Metapontium. It looks genuine. The weight is light but correct. No issues.

I don t think. Noe 115 is a seven grained barley ear. Here you have IMO a eight grained ear with two additional terminal grains,the A is round toppaeg with a cross bar downward to right; So, I think it is a class III stater, numbering from 73-86.albert
