I recently acquired these two Newfoundland 20 cent coins. I'm withholding the dates to remove any chance of over grading due to rarity.

Hi, Steve, I'll say the top one is VG, possibly F-12.

The bottom one is F-15,possibly VF-20.

I'll guess at the daets:-1896 and 1899.

It's difficult to grade a coin based on just one side. But I'll take a shot at it.

I'd grade #1 as F-12, and #2 as VF-20.

on both answers grade and need to see both sides.
We try not to grade according to rarity.
But the dates are important at times, since certain years the strike was not the good. So we have to take that into account as well.

I don't have many Victoria coins, so these are just guesses:
1. VG8-10
2 VF20-25
