Hello again! :)
I just bought this crown today in an Auction and I think I got a bit carried away and paid quite a lot for it. How much do you think it's worth?
Thank you!

I have one in similar condition (a bit worse) on my website for $75, It hasn't been up long, and I've had a few inquiries from American buyers. My asking was informed by ebay.com end prices, but these go for less in the UK, where they are fairly plentiful - so this is to say, depends where and how you sell. Bear in mind, I am discussing RETAIL prices - expect less if reselling to a dealer.

How much did you pay?
Better wait for more expert members but I think it is in a Fine condition, I couldn't find a single price but the range I found is between 50-150$.

I'm looking at the rims. Do I see evidence of ex-mount there?
If not, the obverse is pleasant enough so I'd suggest £45-£50. If ex-mount then a lot less.

Obverse is better than reverse. In slightly worse condition I have sold for £25 or even less in the past. I would probably put it out in my trays at £30 or £40 - provided it is not ex-mount. (If it is, then scrap metal I fear.)
Sofia, if you are down in the South West of England sometime, you must stop by - I am sure I can find many coins for your burgeoning collection!

Thank you! I paid a lot more, for this one and a few other silver coins: £200.

everyone has many times paid for things more than they deserve specially in auction ,when it turns into a competition between bidders.
