I've acquired a couple of sets of space medals through an inheritance, and am wondering what they're worth so I know if my house insurance covers them etc. I'm also curious about their history.

I found some very interesting information on "another coin site that specialises in space coins" (sorry, didn't mean to break the rules first time around ) about where they came from and so on, but although that was the best site I found for background info, unfortunately it's no good for valuations as it doesn't carry any pricing details.

Can anyone suggest a good source of information, either online or printed that I might be able to use or get at a library for example ?

"Space medals" is a very broad sort of term leaving not even a hint as to country of origin. Is there any way you could post pictures of your medals, or at the very least describe them thoroughly?
