Hi! First time posting so I apologize in advance for any mistakes. I was going through my coin jar and found this 1972 penny that looked like it had been badly abused - chip in front bottom rim and cut down back. Then I noticed on the back what appeared to be a blob of extra material and am now wondering if these are actually all errors. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Just a damaged coin. Typically, if you can think of a way that the coin could have come to look like that after the minting process was completed, it was not like that when it left the mint.
