I found this while looking through some coins I was searching and for some reason there's doubling on only the y in liberty, is this a real doubled y or a Machine Doubling cuz there is no doubling in any other part of the coin? Does anybody know anything about this? I hope the pictures clear enough that anybody can see what they need

to the CCF!

I don't see doubling, just a large contact/hit mark at the center of the Y.

If you look just to the north on the left side is much more clear than the right in the picture but when looking through a loop you can see both sides is clearly doubled. I'm waiting to get my coin scope so sorry about the bad picture

Yes the arrows help, but that also looks like a contact mark more than a DD or even MD.

Also, welcome to CCF!

Sorry, the previous posters are correct. Not a doubled die.
