First Post and day 5 of my coin collecting career:
Below are 5 quarters that have some surface blemishes that arent "typical" issues that ive seen online...any of these worth further investigation?

Quarter A: 1965 - Large gash on the ear of GW, backside shows deformation next to the eagle's 'left' leg

Quarter B: 1980 - Dent in GW's Adam's Apple, pushes through to the backside at the eagle's beak

Quarter C: 1970 - 99% sure this is just a badly damaged coin, but what was curious to me was the deep hole indented on the edge of the coin...seems an unlikely thing to happen in circulation

Quarter D: 1979 - 4 small craters on the face of the coin

Quarter E: 1993 - Back of the coin has 2 areas of almost pearlescent (is that even a word?) coloring...in some light and angles it looks purple/green like those old baseball hologram cards. doesn't seem to be able to be scraped off...

Please see below for the pics, and let me know if any of these are worth additional thought...

Thanks Much!

all just post mint damage (and what looks to be some gunk on the surface for the last one). Nothing here that looks like a candidate for an error.

It is common practice that we follow a "one coin per thread" policy. It makes it easier for us to help you. Thanks.

It seems that someone had some fun with a hammer and punch on the A, B and D quarters.
