Black color suggests a contemporary fouree denarius, but perhaps struck from authentic dies.
Perhaps an example of dishonesty by mint officials?

I have seen a couple of examples of Elagabalus denarii similar to this one, over the years.

@ sel_69l - Thanks a lot for your comments. The black color of the metal on the coin is most likely an incorrect color rendering. The coin has a dark green patina. The new photos may show this better. I'm almost sure the coin is authentic.

ΦIΛIΠΠOΠOΛEITΩN NEΩKOPΩN translates as "of the Philippopolitans, the Temple-keepers". ΠYΘIA on the prize urn is a reference to the Pythian Games: https://www.moneymuseum.com/en/arch...?&slbox=true
