Hello everyone. I have a 1952 Canadian one cent coin the is silver in color not copper like it should be. Has anyone seen this before? Any thoughts are appreciated thanks!

to CCF. It does look plated,maybe with nickel. Is it magnetic?

Get a rare earth magnet. Nickel plated coins are weakly attracted and will stick to it.

It has a hole so it's worth 1 cent - scratch the edge and see if it's copper-coloured underneath.

doesn't look silver in the picture,
regardless,
silver coating PLUS a hole in coin = almost certainly someone made a jewelry piece.
