If most of the lighter areas are just loss of tarnish or luster, then VF-30+. Hard to tell from the pic and not in hand.

A very very nice VF30 or a borderline EF40.
Coins don't wear discreetly or uniformly, I just can't get off the fence.
Almost certainly EF45 at PCGS or NGC, but it just doesn't do it for me.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Unfortunately it is not an obv 1
very difficult without having coin in hand... and then even hard
Agree with DBM, but min 30 IMO, as a buyer. If we had, a 35 would be nice.

Agree with H , that is such a solid VF + , VF35 is about bang on .
Most pleasing original collectors coin .

Imo VF-35, just not enough meat to make EF-40 imo

Agree this is either EF40 or VF30, but in all reality its probably somewhere in the middle.
