1954 Canada $1 Bill, Devil Face Questions

I am new to the paper currency and focus mainly on Canadian small cents but today I went to a local flea market and when I purchased a bunch of coins I came across this 1954 bill in a clear sleeve and found it pretty interesting.

I know there is a devil face version and I am just curious if this would be it, and I was wondering what everyones opinions would be regarding grade/condition. Also, the photos are taken with the bill still in the sleeve.

Did I do good?

You have a modified portrait version, not the Devil's face portrait, your note came from a 40,000,000 note run. And trends for
5$ in A.U. condition.

If it was a star note, with that prefix, and that signature combination it would have been a big $$$ note.

Your note is not a devil's face it has what is called a modified portrait.
The Lawson-Bouey signatures indicate it was printed no earlier than 1973.
Grading notes from pics is very difficult, yours looks to be about EF.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thank you for the replies, I figured as much. I had it given to me for free since I made a fairly large purchase of coins that I have been wanting so I still think I did fairly good.

I also started my Canadian paper collection when someone gave me a free 1973 dollar bill. It was used and worth a buck, but started me down a truly enjoyable hobby.

Your 1954 $1 dollar bill may be a nice start. Looks like a circulated EF 40 bill with 3 vertical folds and some corner wear.
