Why does it have to be turning green....

Even the earlobe looks doubled.

Sorry about the blur or glare in a couple pictures, I can upload more if needed.

On mint state "red" coins like this, you want to diffuse the light so that there isn't so much glare. I see possible notching on the reverse though.

I don't believe DDO-002 and DDR-002 are a known die pair, so I'd be very skeptical about it being both. My guess would be neither, but if you post better pictures it will be easier to confirm that.

Not sure how I could diffuse the light, unless I use a different source. My digital scope has a ring of LED lights in a circle around the main part, with 2 lights on the sides. I don't have a memory card for it, so I have to take screenshots with my computer.

The pictures that show the actual color of the coin are taken with an Ipad plus jeweler's loupe and get blurry/glare when I zoom in.

Let me see if I can get better pictures.

I'm starting to think it's not the DDO-002, after looking at the last T in Trust again.

Let me try to get better pictures.

These first two pictures are taken with my digital scope with the light turned off.

For the other pictures, I popped the lense off my actual microscope and had it in front of an Ipad. I'm not sure if these are much better. There's still a lot of glare.

It still looks like the DDO and DDR 002 to me. Doubling on the last T in Trust and the date.

Double hair.

On reverse, split serif on the R in America.

Those pictures with the light turned off are actually very good because there is absolutely no glare at all. Not a DDR in my opinion.

On the obverse, I don't see doubling on the bust, but it's wore down a bit in that area. Unless it's a later state die.

That R and C in America must have me fooled then. Those sure look like a split serifs, even more so if I invert the colors.

Not seeing any doubling either. I suggest looking at the R under your loupe instead - the light reflects really badly on the tails of the R and I find it easier to see under optical magnification than with the USB scope.

I guess that also explains why the E in One and the N in Cent both look like they have split serifs, when I use my scope.

What about the obverse?

The thickness on Liberty, UST in Trust and the 984 in the date?
