Hey all. I have a good feeling about this one. It's a 1923 Buffalo Rotated Die Rev:

Thanks for looking. Manos

I wonder if it could be rotated die obverse?
Otherwise it's about 45 degrees rotated. Nice find.

How would I tell if it's rotated on the obv instead of rev? I noticed it on the rev but, good point. What's the reference to tell? Thx.

I think they call them rotated dies. There is no obverse or reverse designation. It's a good thing to watch for. Nice catch.

There is no way to tell which die is rotated. Convention has been to call them rotated reverses because normally collectors look at the obverses first with the obverse oriented in the correct upright position and then note that the reverse is rotated from its normal position with respect to the obverse.

These are more common on some coins(Buffalo Nickels, Two Cent Pieces, some Large Cents) rare on others. Here is a good site: https://www.rotateddies.com
They have a census of how many approx. are out there. Good find though and worth holding on to although not too valuable. Here is one of mine.
