Just curious since I purchased from a collectable store about 3 years ago and just now looked at it under a microscope was wondering what you think.

to CCF. The area at 12 o'clock obverse looks like PMD, if that is what you are talking about.

Well thank you all for a response. I was hoping to hear something else since the material around the edge looks like a die issue to me. That's why I asked.
So no one mentioned the 25 oz looking print on the first pic. Anyone know how that could appear on a coin so small with little to no tool marks (Minus the 2 gouges)?

It does appear to have a 25 next to the last S in STATES...but trying to enlarge your pic makes it blurry to see anything else?
