Are these all large date 1972 pennies?

There are no large and small varieties for the 1972 cent. Perhaps you are thinking of 1982 cents?

No large or small date varieties for this year. Many DDOs exist that are nice to look out for though.

Sure there can be large and smaller digits, because some die have been polished on the fields and it makes the devices smaller. But that is just a die event. They all started out that year normal sized.
