I drive for an Old Order Amish community, take them to town for grocery shopping, Dr. visits, farm store, wherever. I also have 2 phone booths, so to speak, they could be mistaken for an outhouse, size wise. These phone booths have cell flip phones in them, and I keep them powered with Dewalt batteries. So they pay a dollar a call to use the phones, available 24/7, this way they do not bother the neighbors during a meal or in the middle of the night. And no horse apples left in the driveway. Any way this week there were a lot of coins, including a 1953P penny, and a 1958D. Also a 1948S nickel, and 2 other nickels '64 and '61.
They have not left any old bills yet but that could happen, as the senior members become deceased. I may put up a sign regarding purchasing silver coins. GL HH everyone. Webekin

For 3 years I have driven a family group of Amish to work. First building pole barns. Then working for a contractor erecting metal building, red iron work. I rent them tools to work with, Dewalt 20 volt battery impactors, chainsaws, drills, other power tools they can not own. We also do roof replacement with metal panels. Mileage, daily pay, and rental, put over 135,000 miles on my 2015 Silverado already. But I have a spread sheet of expenses, so I pay very little taxes, since I'm retired. It's a good life if you don't weaken. Webekin

At first I thought the Amish created their own pay phones with a unique token, but this system also works.
