Looks like light glare. Also don't make duplicate posts.

The letters in the 1st pic are clearly doubled. Even in the full coin image you can zoom in and see the same thing.I am new in the field and not trying to dispute your answer but light glare dont appear as doubling other coins same place and light so its jard to accept your answer with all do respect. Thank you for uour time and reply.

I also apologize for breaking a forum rule if indead that is what I have done. I tried responding to a very kind person in the last topic I posted about the same coin with new pics as he instructed but me being new forum was not allowed. I am trying to figure this out but not the most computer literate person you will meet. Again I apologize and will read the rules more thoroughly before any new post.

Just take it slow and steady, there is a learning curve. There is a thing call shadow doubling caused by lighting a coin poorly...just a FYI.

Thank you john . So my light on my magnifier is the reason I see the doubling. Oh wellback to the drawing board I guess thats what makes me keep looking the fact that theres so much out there but so hard to find and so much I don't know. I wonder why I dont see it on another 84 p same year and same mint?

The light would it cause the doubling look on both sides of the same letter. I think aybe on one side of the letter is the light and the other side is doubling. In this case hold voin upright the yop is doubled.

I think what you're seeing is MD ( Machine Doubling). Neither PCGS or NGC have an attribution for an 84P.

Still not seeing a doubled die. Photo is still blurry and the lighting needs fixing. If you plan on staying in the hobby, you may want to buy a usb microscope.

What usb microscope would you suggest. I live in the country and we wouldn't have anywhere to browse over them here. And thanks again for your apparently much needed help!
