to @rmpsrpms and all those in this forum and across this community who have provided constructive feedback and suggestions. I purchased the System 400 from Ray, and...wow! He customized a lens system specific for me to capture varieties and not primarily for full coin photography. I loved coins but getting to see the varieties and just the alloy detail and shadows, is incredible and a treat on its own. Still learning the system, lighting, software, etc. and its awesome, hope to share my independent pics soon, Ray helped me with one, here it is, LWC 1955 S, BIE variety.  |

Yes, in 2*2, did not want to take out as I am still learning how to adjust the Z-stand, etc.

Thanks for the shout out @shantiom!
For those interested, @shantiom is using a Unitron 3x Measurement objective plus a 2x teleconverter to get to ~6x. This combination gives a good combination/tradeoff between sharpness and depth of field.
