It's a little hard to tell, but it looks somewhat like what's called a "ridge rim" which is caused by Die Deterioration. The plating may also be split there which will make it look more like a crack. It's fairly common.

with a Ridge Ring. These are extremely common on the 1980s and early 90s zinc cents.
