As mentioned above, there should be doubling on everything too, not just some features. Report this Post to the Staff

Plus, why would the upper part of one down-sloping neck line be missing even though the eyes and mouths are so sharp directly above? And neither "nose" looks quite right. And the reverse is normal? Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 10/19/2020 8:19 pm I suspect it is real. The die pairing is correct and the doubling is there on LIBERTY and the date as well. I don't see doubling on the reverse so it looks like it may have bee struck twice withthe coin remaining in the rev die and the obv die being loose and shifting between strikes.
