Any idea what this is? Grey and not magnetic but feels a bit heavy for aluminum. Colour is more realistic in first photo. Found in misc screws/nails bin. Approx size of a half-dollar.

Shell Canada Gas Station Promo Medallion from 1969 1970.
Made of goldine plated zinc pot metal .
One of the 14 different PMs of Canada to that time .
The hardest one to find is Pierre TRUDEAU .
Pretty much worthless .

Canadian junk boxes have a lot of them, and nobody wants them. the goldine plating rarely seems to be there, and the medals corrode badly and unattractively. A lot of people on ebay ask the moon for them but I doubt that they sell many at the asking price.

Shell had other series which were a lot nicer looking.
