Well the images are not a great help. It could be insane MD? All other devices would show the same thing. If the area only shows on one side of the Memorial it wouldn't make sense. Note the dies scratches are raised. This line is incuse, so it must be a coin scratch. Not deep enough to be a struck through. unless it was something very thin. So I feel it is a coin affected by something soft, not leaving lines in the trench, or striation lines on the trench. No premium for this either way. Just an unknown event so far.
