Its 20 coins (one roll) for $500. He has stock of 25 rolls yet is offering each one for $500 - "You are bidding in a fixed price auction for Rolls of 20 Brilliant Uncirculated Peace Silver Dollars"

In a word, NO. You are not getting 500 Peace dollars, just one roll of 20, and the wording of the auction is very misleading. Also note that the auction was ended early due to a listing error. Mike's Coins is a notorious seller and not in a good way Odds are that the roll will not have a single MS coin in it, they will all be AU or EF coins(sometimes even polished or harshly cleaned) worth not much more than silver value. $25 coins, those are not...

Here is a (lengthy) thread describing some members' experiences with this seller. NOT good at all.

I started an earlier thread on Mike's Coins also. Your chance of being satisfied with a transaction with this guy is very small. Beware!

Wow, did you see that one negative comment, guy paid $5,000 dollars for 100 Peace dollars, check was cashed, and he had yet received the coins at the time of the posted feedback. Scary. But too bad that person is an idiot. Who buys 100 Peace dollars over the internet, pays $50 dollars each, and then pays with a check.

And this is why buying on ebay is such a crap shoot. Unless I meet the seller in here and can contact them through the forum, I don't think I will ever again make a blind purchase on ebay.

I've had more good experiences on the 'Bay than bad ... Mike's coins was one of the bad, but it was a small deal. You just need to do your homework. I did notice another auction from Mike's Coins yesterday ... it's been a while since I've checked in on him. Guess what ... NOTHING CHANGED! He's still listing with stock photos showing a gorgeous BU coin and the real coin is in the fine print (avg circulated). Some people never learn.

Podoprigora to much confusion with this seller stay away I think... Sir Ferrari..very interesting topic 6 pages of him convincing himself he was a honest seller... Then to have someone join the forum to vouch for him... How pathetic Then the guy was like I remember when you could sell something and sit on the money for7 days before you mail and the buyer would still be happy... Maybe we should pay this guy 7 days after we received the item and see how happy he is Quote:But too bad that person is an idiot. I was alerted by one of my regular customers to this latest round of bashing and am replying to it. We did pull the 500 Silver Dollar auction because a few people were confused about it. We try different listings every once in a while and we were running this a few years ago without any problems. Apparently, some people thought that I was selling BU Peace dollars for below face value. Because of this we pulled it and reworded the listing. As for the guy who bought "100 Peace dollars for $5000", the $5000 was correct but it was for 300 BU Peace dollars, so they were $16.67 each, a very fair price. We received a check 3 weeks after the auction ended, only after we initated an unpaid item dispute. The check was postdated by two weeks so we couldn't cash it. Once we put it in we did wait 10 working days (considering the problems we had this was justified). The negative was posted while the package was in transit. As for "all the negatives and neutrals", if you bothered to actually look at our feedback profile you would see 1,353 positives and 10 negatives in the past 30 days. Our 30 Day DSR ratings are all between 4.74 and 4.82. All of these are above the average for ebay sellers and we get raised search standing from ebay. Seatednut, what auction are you referring to with a "gorgeous BU coin" in the picture and "average circulated" in the listing? If you have any questions please contact me directly.

I have never personally delt with you on ebay to my knowledge. IMHO your stuff is over priced on a lot of things.. if you have done no wrong then dont worry about what the people on the board have to say... Maybe you should come around and get into our conversations and you will learn something as we all have.. we would like to see you in other things than just on forum where people are upset... to the community

Out of 1,300? Do you have a clue what the public is like? Sorry, but I think that less than 1% dissatisfaction is acceptable. We try, but it is absolutely impossible to please everyone.
