Got this in a trade with CoinHunter27 for my 1995 DDO NGC MS-67. I didn't really care too much for that 1995, but I love this one. The second one of these in my collection is worn at F-VF, so I was thrilled to get an MS example. Pretty tough to find in mint state right?

Very nice! I have an MS example and just enjoy looking at it periodically.

Yes, quite rare in MS but not worth what coinfacts lists as an "estimate". It's just not that popular a die and pretty much has to be a registry coin to bust into the big numbers.

Also note that there remains some confusion on the websites about what's what. There is a reasonably similar die with the mint mark slightly different. So using VarietyVista (CONECA) the die with the big obverse die crack up from the ear into the hair is FS-101. According to Wexler that would be WDDO-025 and that crack is not shown as a marker for FS-101. Coppercoins also does not list that obvious die crack as a marker for FS-101.

Anyway, yours is FS-101 by the CONECA catalog and a wonderful rare find. Congrats!
