These class II doubled dies on 1968 cents from all three mints are generally considered master die doubling. Wexler pulled all his old listings, but VarietyVista (CONECA) continues to have a few listed.

So as it is, while this is unlikely a doubled die, it is listed and so I need one for my collection. Generally I do not even look at BU rolls from 1968-P but noticed that the DDO-001 I have needed upgraded. So after some effort here is a pretty decent example.

Nice! Always good to see another DDO-001 crossed off the list. Speaking of which, how long is that list now?

I believe less than 12 to go at this point. Tanman can knock one off when he gets back to thinking up a trade for his 1969-D, and I do know a guy who has offered his 1974-D and will likely take him up on that.

I don't have the exact list handy but with those two hopefully figured out, it looks something like this:

1946-D
1964-D
1969-S
1970-S
1975
1977-D
1987-D
1988-D
1996-D
2004

When you look at V.V, DDO 1-5, 004 is the only DDO. The others are all the same doubled working hub issues on all cent dies from this working hub issue. It is on Wexler's site. (All mints) info on the 1968 WDDO listings.

Wow that's a relatively short list! I'll keep an eye for any of those!
