Just a plating split in the center of the mintmark. I've seen this before:

Interesting. I do see the plating blister it's attached to the Bar. Coppercoin has one listed close to this but mine is a little different and has different markers. http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds

But that area is not part of the RPM. We often see damaged punch dies, but the damage punch is not part of the RPM. So it is probably not that area that is part of the RPM.
Note on the copper coin example, that is part of the RPM in the center, but also note that the lower part if also part of the RPM. It is a SE RPM. With you new image added at the bottom, I can see part of a die scratch above the mintmark on that image. The center part of you coin is showing the strength the die scratch was at one point. Not the die scratches have faded, except for the center part of the mintmark. (They last the longest there) Here is an example that hasn't faded out as much as your coin through the mintmark.
