A friend of mine spotted this one and gave me the green light to go for it. Ended up at $9 with shipping so quite happy about that. 1940-S Lincoln Wheat cent RPM-007 (S/S/S East, East) Edited by tropicalbats 10/26/2020 10:13 pm

Very nice find. With the die crack on the lower bust area, it maybe a Stage that V.V doesn't have yet? A marker that Wiles might like to have images of? (The rim to rim die crack)

Nice pickup TB. Was this an "Rx prescription" to help treat your variety affliction? Also, if it were a slightly earlier die state, before the reverse die was changed out, it would have fit nicely with your collection of Retained Cuds on the wheats.

I don't see a stage 'E' on V.V? They only go to 'D'. Your die crack is huge and totally different.
