Any thoughts? I can't really find any other coins in my collection to compare the details to, and can't determine the grade from online photos.

I'm not particularly good at grading but I would say somewhere at or below Fine.

Based on what a new one looks like, VG is a reasonable grade.

Major design detail has worn flat, but is still all there.
VG (British grading).

Scarcest circulation date for type according to the mintage records, but it must be remembered most of all dates have long since found their way back to the melting pot.

I was also interested to see the mintage figures on this type.

There is a pretty healthy market for Dominican Republic coins on ebay, and even in this condition, normally gets a decent premium above melt.

Recent ebay sales will generally be your best guide for market value of modern coins like this.

The philly mint coins be pretty hard to find.

VG-10 would be my guess.
