Hello all. I was going through my change and found this nickel. Is this a mint error or some other damage? If a mint error, is it worth anything? Thx

Some other damage.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

It's just Post Strike Damage or PSD. Nothing in the minting process could have done this. If you see an area on a coin that's raised above the normal height is almost always displaced metal from damage
