Hi all, super new to this and wasn't really sure where to post this question. I was going through some old coins after reading an article about a 1977 Kennedy half dollar that went at auction for a decent return. After seeing that I went looking at my coins and found this one. It appears to be a 1977 Denver mint one but I am not certain. Can anyone tell me just by looking at these photos ? I've done the tissue test and it appears to be silver so I just wasn't sure because the d press at the bottom is hard to read. Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

Thank you for the reply and my apologies on the photo cropping. Unfortunately all I have is a home food scale that says it weighs 12g. I suppose I'll have to get something a little more specific to determine if it is in fact 11.50 grams rather then the normal 11.34 grams. Thanks so much.

1977D is a relatively lower-mintage one, but even so, millions were made. Top dollar requires a high MS grade. Your coin looks to be dinged by time spent in a slot machine, AU condition at best. Worth keeping if you have no other 77Ds, otherwise a spender.
