I'll tell you what I live by. Can you find it without a details grade? If so run from the details coin. I make it a near personal policy to not buy details coins. I don't think any of the coins that I've bought for my long term collection have ever been details. Short term flip coins yeah, but I don't think I've ever bought a details coin with the intention to keep it.

I'm guessing that's their "best offer" price? I see that one listed at $1,999.00

In terms of past sold AU-UNC Details examples, I would say that's a fair price, and better than some.

But I'd have to agree with Grape, I'm also not a fan of problematic coins, and avoid as much as possible. Inexpensive hole fillers are one thing, and even then I shy away. This though....I'd rather spend that same money on a problem free AU-53/55 example.

$1920 according to NumisMedia. I would wait and get one without the details grade.

Would love to see sharp, fully lit, high resolution photos of the coin. Wondering how 'disturbing' the cleaning is. Anything else driving the details determination?

@ijn, that Lincoln looks pretty pink from here. Cleaned copper is one thing that you can spot from a mile away
