The coin is from Switzerland. The design has been used on the 5 Rappen coins of Switzerland since 1879. The "B" on the reverse, below the ribbon, represents Bern, the location of the Swiss mint that struck the coin.

The 1963 coin is very common (over 29 million were struck) and is worth less than a dollar.
