Sorry about that CF, I typically do. In the OP I put I was just going to do a quick 24 hr. Originally was just going to post it with the grade, then decided to do a guess the grade for an unbiased opinion first. Next time I'll just do one or the other wanted to get post reveal thoughts as well.

ANACS can be pretty tough on Buffalos. That's why I called your coin a "50".

I have several Buffalos I thought would grade better than ANACS called them.

This is one of them:

I thought it was a solid VF with 1/2 to 2/3 of a horn. ANACS didn't think so and called it Fine Details Scratched. I'm still looking for the scratch, too!

I feel your pain!

@westernsky, is that a 7 I see under there?! Nice example. Possibly for the light diagonal scratch running through EPU? Seems petty if so.

Yeah...it's an 8/7. The green gunk on the rim was mitigated before sending it in. It is really a nice coin but ANACS is just really tough on Buffalos. I just have a tough go with the scratch for some reason.

I understand what the OP is going thru. Been there, done that!

I can see AU-50 but the coin sure looks like it was cleaned to me, especially looking at the toning.
