Very nice! Amazing variety combo in a nice high grade. Your proof photography always amazes me. I find proof coins exceptionally difficult to photograph but yours always come out great. Congrats on the pick!

Thanks CH27! Full coin proofs do drive me a bit nuts to get the pic, but my set up with my scope does pretty well for proof close ups.

If this wasn't as nice of a duel die variety as it that price would be stupidly outrageous.

That's a real beauty. Congrats. I can't imagine the sellers images were as good as yours. So what did you pick up on, since this is a great doubled die but not as easy to see as some.

Very nice coin and very-very nice photos. It is hard enough to get good pics of a non proof coin, sooo John1

I'm not so sure that it isn't tripled. It appears so on the bottom of the devises.

Thanks folks for the great comments! Much appreciated.
Pete, I took a bit of a chance. The seller's photos were actually fairly crisp, but full slab photos were the only two pics. The sharp images allowed me to see the strongly doubled dot between the E and P of EPU. So I knew it was a strong doubled die, but didn't know for sure it was this one until I got it. Exciting to put it under the scope and see all that fun doubling, and yes tripling.
And yes, it will be going out to PCGS soon enough to get relabeled. I'm putting together a set of slabs with cherrypicks that need to have that done, since just sending in one coin like this costs too much in shipping and insurance to really make it worthwhile. I do wish PCGS would just let you put everything on one sheet and submit, rather than have to break every submission down into each type of submission as shipping and insurance really run the cost up.

Might be worth your time to contact them and see if you can get a special price. John1

Very nice one! I'm a huge fan of proof varieties, but I don't find them very often.
