2000 D Roosevelt Dime. This One Is Kind Of A Curiosity

Found this in some pocket change and this 2000 D Roosevelt dime is either the victim of high bounce MD or it is doubled. I am not sure if the high bounce as the bottom of the C in AMERICA shows the doubling too low for a high bounce md scenario. The A next to appears to show an extended serif at the bottom left leg of the A. Whatever it is it is really a cool dime to look at through a loupe.

I would think it is Machine Doubling. I see the same thing going on under the R and it looks like it reduced the size of the device.

Interesting coin Jim. I agree about the MD.

Is it bent at all? The way the light is reflecting off the reverse looks odd, unless it is just staining and/or lighting.

Might there be slightly concave areas on the reverse? Starting below the TE (STATES), going south to the left of the flame, and continuing to the O (ONE).
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

My guess is Machine Doubling.
