Hello everybody. Attaching a few pictures of this coin which is claimed to belong to the Iranian Safavid dynasty. Require an input on the veracity of that claim, and the ruler and date, if possible. 21 mm, 5.1g

There are a couple experts here on CCF for this type of coin. Hopefully they'll see your post. But until then, you might look through Numista's site on Safhavid coins. Here's a link: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/in...&wi=&sw=&p=7

Not a Safavid piece.

Aq Qoyunlu dynasty
Ruler: Abu Al-Muzaffar Ya'qub (1478-1490 CE)
Denomination: Tanka
Date: Post-reform type, minted AH 890-896
Mint seems to be off-flan but someone might help with that.
Reference: A-2522 (Checklist of Islamic Coins, Stephen Album)

The reverse carries an interesting central legend, verse 7 from chapter 99 (Al-Zalzalah) in the Qur'an:
"faman ya'mal mithqala tharratin khayran yarah" ("So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.")

Using the outstanding attribution from Mohammadaak to do the search, here's a match for your coin in Zeno:

Thank you Seeker, the coin you linked seems to have another reverse type. In the coin above, the reverse center has the phrase "khallada Allahu mulkahu" ("May Allah eternalize his reign"). This does not seem to be the case for the Zeno example.
