If you are referring to the R & A in Australia being too close together then that is normal for this coin.  It's hard to see what is going on with the end of Elizabeth and along the rim ... are the markings incused or raised? Also can you post a photo showing all of the reverse?

The damage on the reverse looks like PMD (Post Mint Damage) but I have no idea what may have caused the raised blobs of metal on the obverse. With regard to the 'missing leg' it appears to just be a weak strike in this area, very similar to this.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
