What does this stand in US grading ? The sellers is a well known european auction house , considered it in the description as AU. What do you think?

I would say a high EF in US grading (which roughly correlates to the British grade assigned by @sel_69l). I think considering the wear on the obverse, the ding at top on the reverse, and the patchiness of the luster, a firm AU would be a little generous.

Can't tell if its weak strike on a raised detail or wear.

If bad strike, EF

If wear - gVF to VF+
(British grading)

@Princetane, just as an FYI these were struck at the Paris mint, and although they are low relief, they are virtually all well struck up (the mintages were small by Monnaie de Paris standards). They do show wear very quickly as a result, and as the fields are not protected, luster tends to get disturbed quickly.
