Yeah, it is a fairly impressive die crack... Not sure why, but I tend to like coins with die cracks.

@ Everyone

Some of you are really good at this game. I find the 1897 15 Roubles can be a bit tricky, as the hair details seem somewhat weak, possibly giving the impression of wear.

Fairly poor pictures, but when factoring the cost to ship, exactly what I paid for mine (~$900) back around the start of the year... You would think such poor pictures would dissuade people from bidding, but the coin has 43 watchers + 21 bids.

So, time for the grade reveal, and this happens to be the most valuable Russian gold coin in my collection (I do have some early 1900s MS-65 + MS-66 5 roubles too):

Greasy Fingers wins this round -> NGC graded MS-62
