I happened to see this for sale and thought as far as mint errors go this is extremely cool. For the record I don't own this coin and have no ties to it blah blah blah. Good question. I've never seen one before, honestly I'm extremely impressed by this coin. I just did some digging and found a nearly identical example. That one was an NGC PF65 non CAM that sold 3 months ago for 2,640.00. https://coins.ha.com/itm/errors/196...ption-071515This coin however is kind of difficult. While it is CAM it is in desperate need of conservation, and not heavy conservation, just attention. Given that it'll need attention I think that'll hold the price back. I see this selling for no less than $1,500 but no more than $2,000. Honestly, if I bought this I'd be giving it a bath in acetone upon receipt. |

Quick update. This coin surprises me still. With slightly over 6 days left before hammer this coin has nearly passed my pre-sale estimate. I estimated anywhere between $1500-$2000 inc BP, as of now it's $1750 w/ BP. I think it'll cross $2000 at this rate, color me surprised.

Wow! This coin hammered for $2420 Inc BP! Talk about out performing my expectations! I'm really impressed with how well this coin did, I mean it is quite the spectacular coin to begin with, but this shows the errors market is still going strong
