It said that he dumped 200,000 of his counterfeits in Cooper River in Cherry Hill. I really want to go there with my metal detector and find that stash. Only 100k of his fakes made it into circulation. That amount would have cost him $3,500 to produce with a profit of only $1,500. It's estimated that he may have minted as many as 500,000 coins. The value of the coins he dumped in NJ could be as much as $6,000,000 to today's collectors.
