From a closer look, they seem like they are just dirt/grime with possible zinc exposure or some sort of colored foriegn debris/paint that look the same as zinc. I was debating on giving it an acetone bath to see if it cleared up the spots but I felt like I better leave it. Upon closer inspection it also looks like it could pass as a possible woody but I'm not 100%.
