I got bored and just purchased this roll for $5. Should I keep it in tact, or break it out?

May I ask what is the potential value in that particular roll?

I'm not sure. If I break it open, maybe very little - with the luck I have trying to resell coins. I may find some extra nice ones. The rest I would probably put in mixed lots of coins.

What's on the other end - a 2009 obverse, a 2009 reverse (and which one) or something else?

I think these are worth around $5 a roll (if it's all 2009), maybe a little more if it's the Presidential LP4 which are a little more rare.

I'd probably open it up and see what you got.

They're both 2009 obverse. I should get the roll by Saturday.

I see no reason to open it. The coins in the roll are most likely nothing special, so opened it's worth 50 cent to a dollar. As a roll it brings more from starry eyed treasure hunters who have dreams of what might be inside.
