BadThad - I initially thought the Canadian quarter was a proof. It's got a great finish but not mirror-like. The scary face on the Panama centesimo scared my 3-year old daughter. Jim - Love the 1955 with missing components on both sides. I think the bottom two are just weather damage. The 1973 sat in the sun too long and the 1961 was out on a windy day. I bet Abe's hair is messed up, too.  |

I stop at the bank once in a while and pick up a couple of rolls to go through, but I'm not having much luck lately. Bought two rolls today and here's the only interesting coins I found.

I save all 2009 Lincoln cents.
1974 D that a dealer could have sold as BU
1981 almost BU
2006 Canadian
1974 Canadian
and that's it.

Don't feel bad Ken. These are my latest finds.LOL I believe these should be called "Swiss Zincoln Cents" or "Moon Landing Lincolns" And this is why we save our BU cents.  I went through a 25box and only found 3wheats(46-s,54,58) and about $5 in copper. But I did find a few BU's to hold onto. Edited by coindexter

Looking through an amazing $25 box and finding lots of wheats, coppers and BU zincs. About 5 rolls left and my 6 year old starts looking for wheats. I told him recently about the Wide AM coins so he started looking for those. Wouldn't you know he found a BU 1998 Wide AM!! I haven't found one in 10,000 coins and he finds it right away. Figures but we are excited. :) |

Picked up my first $25 box today, lots of copper and BU's, a dozen or so wheats and this one, thought I would post the pic. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon!  |

I just finished up my third box in a week yesterday. I upgraded a few holes in my Dansco. I also found 9 wheats and who knows how many coppers. I never keep track. I just throw them in a coffee can. When the coffee can gets full I dump them in a bucket. Maybe it's the lack of humidity around here but I rarely find corroded zincolns. I think I found two in the last box. Bright red zinlcolns are common for any date. In 3 boxes I have yet to see a WAM. Here's a pic of the stack of BU red '90s that I got from the last box. There are around 3 rolls worth there. I also got a couple of rolls worth of BU 80s cents.  Edited by artyboy

My dad got a $25 box today and is opening them on Skype. Every Brinks roll is all copper so far. I could understand if they were in paper wrappers but it's weird since they are in the plastic ones from Brinks. Cool stuff.

I talked my dad into going back to his bank together and get another $25 box. Sure enough they were all coppers again. Can't wait to get my hands on them to see if there are so nice bu coins. So far the oldest date found is 1982 and he has found some wheat pennies. Now I want him to go and try to get all their boxes but he doesn't think they will give him any more right now.
