I don't usually make a fuss over pulling out bright cents, but this one really impressed me. it's only a 63D, but it'll classy up the old dull thing I had in my folder.   |

I am looking through some customer wrapped rolls and found 1 that is all 1970! The real weird part is that the roll came out of northern Alabama and it is primarily Denver mints. There were also 3 S mints. Either someone really needed some money or someone else helped themselves to some coins.

last two times to the bank to get boxes of cents and I received 2 boxes of 2010-d cents! I'm kinda bummed b/c I miss looking through for wheats.. etc.. already sold 1 box on ebay for $56.56 |

SD, I hope yo held on to them. The dealers are charging $3/4 a roll for them out here (east coast). You can probably sell some on the forum.

3/4 through a box here in Canada, found a 1919S, it's worn but still old.

i had a crappy run of both nickels and cents. it does turn around...eventually. but yeah, it's no fun in the meantime...

Jim  I'm still finding about $4-5 worth of copper per box, but I'm only managing about 8 wheats. I have been able to find my fair share of S mints though. I just took an inventory and I've managed to stockpile $10 in 1970-S mints. I've only been roll-searching for a little over a year now. I've just recently started hanging onto each and every S mint that I find....68 thru 74. Not including the 1970's, I've rolled another $12 of the remaining dates. |

well, I have given up on copper. why? well, when I find a $25 box, and put it on ebay, I only sell if got $30 $35... spot copper is at $55! forget it. its not worth my time anymore. |

Don't bother collecting copper unless you plan on holding onto it for a while. It's just not worth trying to sell at spot right now.

i cant even get close to spot...
i did manage to get one box to sell for $71.00. but I included 2 rolls of wheat cents. mostly commons and a few teens in AG. but I want to start saving my wheats for my kids, when I have kids lol...
yesterday I picked up $40 in loose cents and $10 was already searched. the guy put "post 82" on the wrappers. I opened a few, and they had some BU 87's and 83-d's. but still not worth my time to look through again

not saving the copper here in Canada either, based on you guy's experiences. Separated the USA Copper and Zinc since I am not sure what errors and stuff there are yet (getting a RedBook from someone on here). So far Zinc is in the lead 16 rolls to 14. (not counting wheats which I have almost a full roll of) |
